Sala (“we”, “us”) provides a coordination workspace at heysala.com for real estate agents and their clients to track inspection findings and repair negotiations. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

We collect information you provide when you use Sala, including:

• Account details — email address used to sign in (magic link), and profile details you choose to add.
• Deal & party information — property addresses, invite emails, role labels (buyer, seller, agent, etc.), and names or display labels you enter.
• Negotiation content — repair items, notes, dispositions, round history, and PDFs or documents you upload (such as inspection reports).
• Usage & technical data — basic logs needed to operate the service (for example sign-in events, error reports, and device/browser information).

We use information to:

• Provide, secure, and improve the Sala workspace
• Authenticate you and send transactional emails (sign-in links, invites, and deal activity notifications)
• Process uploaded inspection documents (including with AI providers) to help draft structured repair items
• Respond to support requests and protect against abuse

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use deal content to train public AI models.

Deal data is visible to members you invite to that deal, according to their role. We also use service providers that process data on our behalf to run Sala, such as:

• Hosting and database
• Transactional email delivery
• Document extraction and AI processing for inspection uploads
• Error monitoring, when enabled

We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or security of Sala, our users, or others.

We keep account and deal information for as long as needed to provide the service and for legitimate business, legal, or security purposes. You can ask us to delete your account by contacting support; we will delete or anonymize personal data where we are not required to retain it.

We use industry-standard measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data (including encrypted connections and access controls). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please use a strong unique email account and only invite people who should see a deal.

You can update or remove information you control inside a deal (subject to role permissions). You can stop receiving product emails related to a deal by leaving the deal or asking the inviting agent to remove you. For account deletion or privacy questions, request assistance inside the Sala dashboard.

Sala is intended for adults involved in real estate transactions. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of Sala after changes means you accept the updated policy.
